The Grow to Learn Garden is a public garden that provides tours, volunteer opportunities, workshops, and educational programming for youth grades K-12.
In 2022 the garden offered special events to the community such as Indigenous Arts in the garden, medicine walk, elderberry syrup workshop, and pumpkin carving.
PACT Urban Peace Program’s community farm site is located in the fields of John Polanyi C.I. in North York, Ontario. The 1 acre site contains over a hundred species of native and edible flora, and provides habitat to many insect and animal species. The garden produces thousands of pounds of food that is harvested, packaged, and distributed by staff and volunteers to over 400 local residents facing food insecurity.
